• Protective Services Program Required Items

     

    Welcome to the program! Here is what you will need to get started:

    PROGRAM UNIFORM – Wearing a uniform is an important part of public safety officials' and trainee’s responsibility. Uniforms promote positive public relations, improve teamwork, increase safety, and reduce the wear and tear on good clothing.

    The Protective Services Program uniform is mandatory for all students and consists of the following minimum items:

    1. Two (2) NAVY BLUE DICKIES BRAND button up and collared uniform shirts
    2. Two (2) pairs NAVY BLUE DICKIES BRAND pants.
    3. One pair of black safety toe work boots/shoes.
    4. Two (2) pairs of leather/mechanic-style work gloves.
    5. Two (2) Protective Services program sleeve emblems**
    6. Two (2) program nametapes. **

    ** These items will be available for purchase from the program. More information will be available the first week of class.

    SUPPLIES – Students are required to bring these items to class every day.

    1. One 3 ring binder - 3 inch minimum. 
    2. Pens or pencils

     

    Other: 

    1. Follow the program's rules.
    2. Follow the instructor's directions.
    3. Bring a positive and safety-minded attitude. 
    4. Participate. 
    5. Demonstrate a strong work ethic.
    6. Have the desire to help people – that’s what Protective Services is all about!
